The Leader Newspaper reported on our third Barossa Mitre 10 Ladies’ Night held on Tuesday 21st May in the Nuriootpa store. The night was a fundraiser but also allowed ladies to have the store to themselves and ask questions about hardware and DIY projects. Around 250 people attended with Barossa Area Fundraisers for Cancer raising $1,075 from door takings and a further $461 from a raffle.
This year the team at Barossa Mitre 10 decided to step up their event further by inviting special guests, Lauren Decesare and Hayley Pearson from Channel 9’s Hello SA Adelady who greeted guests as they entered the store. Around 30 product supplier companies were represented on the night with demonstrations being conducted by supplier representatives and Barossa Mitre 10 staff.
Everyone went away with a free sample bag and big smiles on their faces. There was coffee, wine and a donut for everyone. It was a fabulous initiative of Barossa Mitre 10 in hosting this event!
