Barossa Area Fundraisers for Cancer Inc is a non profit organization that aims to raise funds to provide support services and help reduce the impact of cancer in the Barossa Valley community and surrounding regions.
We are all Volunteers who raise money through fundraising such as special events that bring the community together to raise awareness and provide resources, community donations, donation boxes in local businesses, raffles and in memoriam - bequests.
We provide community transport cars, a home assist program, palliative care rooms for cancer patients, massage and physiotherapist, a free wig lending service with access to a variety of wigs and hats for as long as required and prosthesis fitter.
We have our meeting twice a month at The Clubhouse Tanunda at 2pm where we discuss our fundraising activities which include raffles, grants, community donations and special events to raise awareness of cancer.
If you are a person who shows empathy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun, please join us. We are always on the look out for volunteers to assist us with fundraising and or take on a role to assist cancer survivors and patients in the local area.
